BadAss Ceramics is a design company that does things a little bit differently. While we design and deliver tableware fully aimed at hardworking functionality, our key focus is always on life itself - the foods we love to eat and the people we want to hang out with while eating it. Even though we produce in big volumes we always make sure every single piece of handmade tableware tells its own story, in its own uniqueness with that signature BadAss nitty gritty feel. “We don’t do perfect” is our spot-on motto.
We deliver our ceramic tableware to carefully selected retailers in five different countries, as well as to restaurants and hotels that represent the BadAss way.

Who is a Badass?
It’s all about living your life in a certain way. You do what you love and believe in, and you follow your own path without paying too much attention to what others think of you. You get comfortable being uncomfortable, always staying true to yourself.
What started as a hobby for then architect Lotta Åkesson Persson in the basement of her house quickly became so much more. She felt there was a specific type of tableware that was missing from the market and wanted to fill this gap with her own vision. With a couple of coffee mugs BadAss Ceramics was born.
Our History & Vision
As the company grew rapidly during its first three years we went from selling directly to private customers to selling only B2B to our carefully selected retailers who now have the responsibility to sell the BadAss Ceramics tableware to all those who crave it as much as we do.
Today we are three people working from our studio space in Rekekroken, Sweden. Our original products have evolved, some have come and some have gone. The one thing that always stays true is our passion for producing functional tableware for all the badass people around the world.
